The following flymph patterns are the known published patterns of Vernon S. (Pete) Hidy as compiled by his son Lance Hidy.   All the patterns are tied by Carl E. Sanders .    Materials are true to the published patterns.  All flymphs on this page are tied using pre-made dubbing ropes constructed on a Clark's Dubbing Block.

The six patterns below were published in "The Origins of Flymph Fishing" from The Angler's Club Bulletin found in the document above.

The following 3 patterns were published in "Sports Illustrated Book of Wet Fly Fishing".  Recipes can be found in document above.  Notice that although these patterns were Leisenring's, Hidy listed them in the publication and I show them here since appear in the above document of Hidy published patterns.  The Hare's Ear Fly would not be considered a flymph due to the wing.
